AN~ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION
17-49(a) OF THE CODE OF ORDINA~ICES,
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA.
IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Sec. 17-49 (a) is amended to read as follows:
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person within the City
limits to have in his possession, except within his own domicile,
or carry, use, fire or discharge a revolver or pistol of any
description, shotgun or rifle which may be used for the explosion
of cartridges, or any airgun, BB gun, gas-operated gun or spring
gun, or any instrument, toy or weapon, commonly known as a "pea-
shooter,,, "slingshot', or "beany," or any bow made for the purpose
of throwing or projecting missiles of any kind by any means whatso-
ever, whether such im~strument is called by any name set forth
above or by any other name.
SECTION 2: SeDarabilit¥. Each of the provisions of this
ordinance are separable, including word, clause, phrase or sentence
and if any portion hereof shall be declared invalid, the remaining
portion shall not be affected but shall remain in full force and
effect.
SECTION 3: Repealinq Provisions. Ail ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: Effective Date. This ordinance shall become
effective in the manner and at the time provided by the Charter
and ordinances of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA.
