AN APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH~ FLORIDAr ADOPTING A
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
NOVEHBER ir 1966 AND ENDING OCTOBER
1967.
WHEREASr the CITY CHARTER of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH~ requires
an appropriations ordinance be passed by the City Council of said muni-
cipality each yearr adopting a budget showing revenue of the city from
alt sources and the estimated expenditures to the various purposes for
the ensuing fiscal year:
NOW, THEREFORE~ be it ordained by the City Council of the CITY OP
BOYNTON BEACH~ FLORIDA~ as follows:
SECTION !: That the proposed budget for the ensuing fiscal year pre-
viously prepared by the City Manager now on file in the £ity Hall of the
City of Boynton Beach~ Ftoridar be and the same is hereby adopted fop
the fiscal year of said municipality beginning November ir 1966, and
ending October 51, 1967r pursuant to and in cempliance with the pro-
visions of Section 28 and Section 84 of the City Charter of the City of
Boynton Beach~ Florida, said budget being made a part hereof by refer-
ence~
SECTION 2: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
to the General Fund for the payment of operating expenses and necessary
capital outlay for the city government pursuant to the terms of the
above budget.
SECTION 3: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $30,000.00 to
the Interest and Sinking Fund for general debtx service fop the purpose
of paying the interest due on the general obligation bonds of the city
net subject to statutory exemptions and for redeeming such bonds as
they ma~ure.
SECTION 4: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $20r854.00 to
the Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt service for the purpose
of paying the interest due on the general obligation bonds of the city
subject to statutory exemptions and for redeeming such bonds as they
mature.
SECTION 5: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $274~105.00 to
the Water Utility Fund and Sewer Utility Fund for operating expenses
and necessary capital outlay for the municipal water and sewer depart-
ments.
SECTION 8: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $351~851.00 to
the Interest and Sinking Fund of the combined municipal water and sewer
departments for the general debt service for the purpose of paying
interest due on the bonds of said departments and for redeeming such
bonds as they mature ~ and for payment of outstanding deve!operTs refund-
ing agreements.
SECTION ?: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $i5~854.00 to
the Community Promotion Fund for the payment of operating expense pur-
suant to the terms of the above budget.
SECTION 8: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $35~000.00 for
the purpose of paying the interest and amortization on a pledge of
Cig-arette Tax revenues for the purposes of new drainage construction
pursuant to the terms of the above budget.
SECTION 9: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $77500.00 for
the purpose of establishing a Working Capital Fund for the replacement
of operating capital items pursuant to the terms of the above budget.
SECTION 10: That this ordinance shall become effective from and after
its passage in accordance with the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach~
F!orida~ in such case made and provided.
