AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, PROHIBITING TRESPASSING ON PRIVATE
PROPERTY, PROVIDING FURTHER FOR AUTHORITY
TO CODIFY, A SAVINGS CLAUSE, REPEALING
PROVISIONS, PENALTY PROVISIONS, AN EFFECT1RrE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Posted Properly: Il shall be unlawful for any person
lo enler or go upon or pass over or remain upon any lands of anolher where
the owner of said proper~y, or lhe person entitled fo the possession thereof,
or the aulhorized agent of either, has posted or caused ~o be posted upon said

persons from trespassing thereon.
SECTION 2: Personal Prohibi~io.n. Againsl Trespassing: It shall be
unlawful for any person lo enter or go upon or pass over or remain upon any
privale land of another after being personally forbidden so to do by the owner
of said property, or by lhe person enlitled lo ~he possession ~hereof, or ~he
aulhorized agent of eilher, whether such land is posted or unposted.

SECTION 4: RePealing Provisions: All ordinances or paris of

SECTION 5: Penalty '. Provisions: Any person, firm or corpora-
lion violating any of the provisions of lhis secliOn shall upon conviclion thereof
be fined in an amouni not exceeding $500.00, or by imprisonment in lhe city
jail for a period not exceeding 90 days, or by both such' fine and imprisonmenl.
Each day such ~fiolalion is committed or permilted to continue shall conslitule
a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
SECTION 6: Authorit~ to Codify: Authority is hereby granted
to codify and incorporate this ordinance in the City's existing code.
SECTION 7: Effective Date: This ordinance shall become
effective in the manner and at the time provided for by the charter and
ordinances of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA.
